Book Testimonials
Rarely do you come across such an amazing
philosophy of training in the martial arts all neatly packaged in
one text! Eichenberg and Maienza do such a great job covering not
only the physical aspects and techniques needed for a modern day
warrior, but the mental and spiritual aspects as well. This book
also does an amazing job explaining how the principles of the Aiki
arts can be used in harmony with the principles of the Ninjutsu
arts. A MUST read for anyone interested in getting a glimpse into
the practical art of the modern day warrior!
- Michael Botica
This book has such an organized and
informative breakdown of the art of Aiki-Ninjutsu, that I've found
myself reading and re-reading it. The combination of practical
information and abstract concepts helps define what
makes Aiki-Ninjutsu so amazing. The breakdown
of the basic techniques as well as a look at some of the mental
aspects and strategies for student are invaluable to anyone who
wants to train in this unique and effective style.
It's a good reference for the library of any
martial artist. Written with people who do not have access to the
authors in mind, it provided history and philosophy of the Samurai
and Ninja arts that I haven't seen in 8 years of training in
ninjutsu. Well worth the money!
- Matt Carr
At first I was a little skeptical as most
martial arts based books really aren't that interesting. However,
upon
reading the first chapter I was pleasantly
surprised. There was a logical flow to the information, as it was
neither boring or patronizing, and it all came together very well. I
admit that I have always been a little mystified in regards to ninja
lore...and had a hard time discerning fact from fiction, but this
little gem cleared all that up rather quickly. Perhaps the most
interesting aspect of the book though lies not in the techniques
that are displayed, but more so in the strategies and philosophies
for victory. The book isn't just about learning how to fight, it's
about learning
how to live. I am looking forward to
their next offering!

This book is a must have for anyone who
considers themselves a serious martial artist! This book is
jam-packed with all sorts of interesting tid-bits that make up the
style of aiki-ninjutsu.It explains the way the old samurai and ninja
arts were chose to create a system that is so simple and yet
amazingly complex. This book not only describes what the art teaches
but why it teaches certain lessons and the purpose behind learning
techniques.
This book was so informative that I placed it on my top shelf next
to The Art of War, and the Book of Five Rings.
- Lee Scott
This is a must read book for anyone who is
serious about martial arts. I am only a starting practitioner of
Aiki Ninjutsu and the great thing about this book is that it covers
everything from white belt to black belt. I have found the
material very helpful to my training, as I strive to become a Modern
Day Warrior. The book covers everything from history to the
physical and mental approaches of Aiki Ninjutsu. You will find
the book very easy to comprehend and will find yourself reading it
several times to absorb all the knowledge contained in its text.
It will change your life and help you achieve all your goals big and
small
